Lauren Santillano

Lauren Santillano is a Regional Sales Manager for California at EYEP Solutions, Inc. (“EYEP”). EYEP is a leading value-added reseller in the physical and network security space. Lauren transitioned to this role as parking and mobility is more of a payment centric industry, but also a physical security one. Previous to joining EYEP, Lauren was a national sales manager at previous companies specializing in mobile and fixed license plate recognition (LPR) in both the parking/mobility and public safety spaces. She grew increasingly passionate about LPR and physical security during this time and became a subject matter expert in our small but mighty industry. In addition to this experience, Lauren is also the vendor representative for the California Mobility and Parking Association (CMPA). Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Government from Sacramento State – where she first started in parking at the parking office as a student assistant.

Lauren appreciates the balance between people and technology as we progress urban planning and the customer experience. LPR but also other components of physical security, like network surveillance cameras, badging, and video analytics allows for a unified solution to meet varying needs of stakeholders.

Why I’m excited to be part of WIL

STEM as a whole, which now parking, mobility, and security fall into now given the exponential growth of technology, is still dominated by traditional thinking and practices. Having people who are typically underrepresented allows for new thoughts, ideas, and innovation to occur.
